We would like to announce the charging mechanism of Global Fee Payer Service that will be implemented this upcoming August 1st.

• Global Fee Payer Service is only available to paid KAS plan users.
  
  • For BApp operators who usually want to pay for transaction fees that occur during service operation without causing confusion for customers, they need to purchase/charge KLAY that is required to pay the fee and continue to ensure that there’s no shortage of KLAY.
    
    However, these tasks can add unnecessary problems to BApp operators’ service management. Moreover, some customers may experience accounting issues. Global Fee Payer Service is meant to solve those kinds of issues.
    
    Therefore, by using Global Fee Payer, you don’t have to worry about all the possible issues related to Fee management. You’ll be also charged the amount of Fee you used later, which means KAS pays your Fee first with KLAY at first and later on continues to charge your fee.
    
    Since the market price of KLAY is constantly changing, it is of utmost importance to note what price of KLAY is applied when using Global Fee Payer. KAS uses the data provided BY Coinecko and applies the closing price of the previous day in Historical Data that is available every day at UTC 0:00.
    
    However, there is a slight delay in Coinecko’s Historical Data delivery time, so it is not announced exactly at UTC 0:00. Considering this delay time, the KLAY price that will be applied to Fee is updated at UTC+2:00 AM (KST 11:00 AM), and this price will be applied as the base price of a day for 24 hours.Therefore, the settlement of Global Fee Payer will be
    
    calculated as follows:
    
    The amount of KLAY used as Fee per day * Klay price of Coinecko + 3% service cost + VAT 2 (VAT 10% applies to customers based in Korea only)
    
    The calculated amount will be charged on the bill along with the payment of the product you use.
