Is There Any Limitations To Mint The Types Of Token Through KIP-7 API?
Hello. This is Klaytn API Service team.
Please refer to the following information about any limitations to mint the types of KIP-7 tokens through KIP-7 API.
As described on the Help Center page, “What Are KCT, KIP-7, and KIP-17?” KIP-7 is a fungible token standard. Therefore, unlike non-fungible tokens minted by KIP-17 API, KIP-7 API can mint fungible tokens only. Fungible tokens can be reused in other applications, and they have fungibility, which allows them to be interchangeable. Fungibility is an essential feature of cryptocurrency.
Therefore, a large proportion of blockchain tokens are fungible tokens, and representative examples are Ethereum and Bitcoin. For further details, please refer to the aforementioned Help Center Page and KAS document.
For any additional questions, you may select Inquiry Registration above the KAS Help Center where you can register your inquiry.
Thank you.
Klaytn API Service team.
