Can I Register an Account Created Through Wallet API on Wallet Programs like Kaikas?
Hello. This is Klaytn API Service team.
Please refer to the following information about account registration on wallet programs.
When you create an account using KAS Wallet API, you are given a Key ID instead of a Private Key. Private Keys are never externally exposed even to the account holder. For information on how wallet keys are safely stored, check out the inquiry on wallet key storage mechanism.
KAS User (Bapp or Dapp) with authority can access the Klaytn account, and generate transactions through it. However, KAS is currently incompatible with wallet programs like Metamask and Kaikas as they require a Private Key to import a wallet.
For reference, we have a seperate roadmap for enabling end users for each Klaytn account within KAS to have the authority to make transactions.
For any additional questions, you may select Inquiry Registration above the KAS Help Center page where you can register your inquiry.
Thank you.
Klaytn API Service team.
